Tokay on far right with friends. Liberia has lost another Legend Tokay Tomah .  Tokay  was a celebrated Liberian singer and dancer. This sad event occurred in the united states. She lost her life to a brief illness. The late 1970s when president William Tolbert than and Director of Culture Peter Ballah recruited her from Nimba County. Where she hails from.  To join the Liberian National culture Troupe. She began her background vocals for many other Liberian musicians like Fatu Gayflor, Zaye Tete. She sing about  disarmament and reconciliation under the   United Nations arm. She later continued peace messages, through song. Late October a strong message came from hip-hop hip-co duo JB of Soul fresh.  Freestyling on his  one-man cipher .   But there has been no reply so far from the Liberian music industry. Co-Z & Christoph Beef is over! For about a year and a half, two of Liberia top artists Co.z Kamikazee and Christoph (The change) had a misunderstanding, that resulted into a serious beef. And later it led to the exchange of explicit songs by both. It is a normal thing for a musician to have beef. But, looking at the Liberian Entertainment Industry at the moment and upcoming Liberian musicians. That did not show a good example. It all started, when Co-z from Liberty entertainment released a song  labeling himself as the King of Liberian music. A source told us which may have been one of the reasons that lead to the beef between him and Christoph (The change) of MEMG/RICHBOYZ. Nevertheless, there was a root cause to the beefing obviously. Knowing that a fellow artist is already holding this title alias Takun J. Their beefing lead to some serious threat and insult from both parties.
